A very short yet unique concept of a persons anxiety inside their new apartment for the very first night, as you play the person imagination seems to become more wild and the nightmare intensifies.
The game builds up the atmosphere nicely and has a good mix between creepy, strange and scary. The playthrough although very short does have potential to become a great horror game, if not then it will be very interesting to see what the creator makes in the future.
This game was overall enjoyable and is on my 3 short scary games compilation ... it is the third video , around the 10 min 30 sec mark.

This game terrified me! I don't wanna ruin anything but a certain part just made me feel so uneasy and uncomfortable! Really enjoyed this one, nice work! Your game is at 15:25 and it was my personal favourite.
Unfortunately i had some problems with the mac version so i had to remove it. you could maybe try it with PlayOnMac or something like that, i think it could work !
This game is really awesome. The environment is really spooky and the sync between environment and the music makes the magical combination. Although I am still learning to make games, this game became an inspiration for me. There was one thing which I am not sure is solvable or not but I had a little problem with resolution. My screen's resolution is 1360x768. So I just had to change my screen resolution. Not a big deal.. But Nice work bro!!

For your problem with the resolution, i think it's totally solvable, i was trying a lot of thing to get the desired aspect for the camera and i'm pretty sure it's what caused your problem, unfortunately i wasn't able to test the game on a lot of different monitors so i couldn't catch all the bugs, i'm sorry you had this problem but i'm glad you could find a solution

Nice short experience. With a few small fixes and additions I really think it could be quite memorable. There's definitely some small scares that can be pretty effective and I'm glad I chose this for my first horror upload! Can't wait to see what you do next and best of luck to you!

DAMN! This gave me the most aesthetic vibes i've ever gotten, I don't know why. The horror aspect wasn't there but its enough to get you spooked. The atmosphere and the sound of the cars really makes you feel that you're in an apartment complex. I even made a cinematic styled gameplay video on it and played around with the atmosphere of the game. A great game for anyone looking to get mildly spooked before going to bed.

Ok, top notch sound effects. When the game finished I was still trying to comprehend the sounds... they were TOO real... it really captured the feeling of being alone in a building containing other people. For a simple concept, this nailed it perfectly.
A good little experience you have here! If you can I'd watch my video below because as a game developer myself I do give a little critique near the end of the segment but those are just my thoughts! Keep going and have a good one!

Awake was indeed made in a really short time in order for me to see if i was able to make a game that people would enjoy, that's why it's very short, i totally agree with you, there is no real gameplay or anything, it's just a experience (a very short one ahah) but it wasn't release just for the sake of releasing something, it was release to see if people would enjoy something i made before working on a much bigger project.

Very good sound design, quite an immersive experience. I really like this idea. I would like to see more of the essence of what's here fleshed out. Some tense and anxious moments. I felt very uneasy at times. Thank you!
I thought I was SAFE on those stairs, until that running SFX made me think otherwise haha and speaking of, I'm loving the variety of sfx used throughout the game. Using a bit more than walking and door opening sfx can really manipulate the feel of the game. But overall, this was a spooky fun experience!

I found a weird glitch but other than that the ambiance was extremely creepy. I played this in my 3 scary games video and it was the third game. Keep up the great work my guy!

I knew it was short but I didn't think it was gonna be that short lol. I did enjoy it for what it is though, it was a pretty good experience. Random flashes, noises and ambient sounds always gets me. Haha! Would love to see a bigger game from you.
